I want to take an image outside in the dark with the camera setting on low exposure so I can make sure the surroundings look dark and the man- made lights stand out and create an area where it is the brightest and your eyes get drawn to it. I will place the camera on top of a tripod so the camera doesn't shake and move, if the camera moves when taking these long shutter speed the picture will be distorted and blurred.

bestThis photo is a really nice landscape photo because it is nicely cropped. The road is in frame whilst the buildings are in the frame and also the sky is in the frame, it all perfectly fits in the frame. I really like the fact that all the street lights are reflecting onto the road floor which adds to the photo being a bit more shiny and more attractive to my eye. The foreground is standing out because of the glistening road.

worstThis photo isn't that good because it is very badly and poorly cropped. It is cropped very tightly so you can't see that much of the street but you can see a lot of the sky, too much of the dark blue sky. The building is very blurry and it doesn't look like it is in focus even if the camera is pointing mainly towards the tall buildings.

I like this photo because of the sign that shows the name of the place. It stands out to me in the darkness of the street. the colourful background illuminates the street floor.

the photo is cropped properly and look like you cant see what's going on in the surroundings. It makes you want to turn your head with the camera and make the camera see more things. this shows that the way this photo is cropped makes it look like your being restricted.
